The Opportunity This position works out of Egypt affiliate in the Established Pharmaceutical Division where we are committed to bringing the benefits of our trusted medicines to more people in the world’s fastest-growing countries. Our broad portfolio of high-quality and differentiated branded generic medicines reaches across multiple therapeutic areas including gastroenterology, women's health, cardiometabolic, pain management/central nervous system, and respiratory. Job purpose: To develop and execute strategies to secure and optimize patient access to the company's portfolio through private health insurance channels (Ex. PHI companies, Private Hospitals, Self-insured companies, Contracts, NGOs, & Related Chains). This role involves managing business relationships with private insurers, negotiating for portfolio inclusion and favorable reimbursement terms, and ensuring that internal teams and healthcare providers understand the access landscape. Key accountabilities and decision ownership: Lead end-to-end business development: identify, evaluate and execute strategic access and tactical plans for the private health insurance sector. Build and maintain strategic private-private partnerships with key decision-makers at private health insurance companies, service providers and related procurement channels to drive products’ performance and growth plans. Define business strategies, optimize resources allocation, and analyze market dynamics within this sector. Analyze insurance policies, coverage criteria, and reimbursement trends to identify access barriers and opportunities. Develop value propositions and demonstrate the clinical and economic benefits of the company's products to payers. Archetyping and mapping of private health insurance sector channels per key account and their networks. Navigating and managing patient journey per therapy area. Gather and analyze market intelligence to identify growth opportunities, assess competitive threats, and recommend timely action plans while ensuring ethical conduct. Build mutual value matrix starting from value offer creation till delivery of innovative solution canvas. Lead negotiations for product inclusion on insurance formularies, pricing, and reimbursement conditions. Drive cross-function partners sales, marketing, commercial excellence and medical to ensure the implementation of organizational approach to private payers. Establish direct, effective and efficient collaboration space with commercial teams to ensure best-in-class tactical plan execution, KPIs tracking and performance measurement. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field. 7+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Deep understanding of Egyptian healthcare ecosystem and market landscape. Strong leadership capabilities. Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams. Excellent conflict management, negotiation, stakeholder management and communication skills. Proven track record in Business development through innovative healthcare solutions and value-based projects including partnership program and commercial agreement execution. Strong quantitative and analytical skills; proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and data analysis. Fluency in spoken & written English. Preferred Qualifications: Robust network across private sector channels. 2-3 years of significant experience in KAM, access, payer relations, or health insurance management.
