Overview PHILADELPHIA, PA- A warm, generous, and loving family in Fairmount, Philadelphia is seeking a full-time nanny to join their busy, joy-filled household and care for their two wonderful children,a curious 2-year-old boy and his sweet 5-month-old baby sister. This family truly wants someone to become an extension of them, a “work wife." who can anticipate needs, stay two steps ahead, and bring humor and heart to each day. Hours are M-F 7AM - 7PM. LIVE-IN is strongly preferred, but open to local LIVE OUT candidates willing to stay over as needed, etc. as well! Mom is a pediatric neurologist at CHOP, and Dad is on faculty at UPenn. They are both accomplished, down-to-earth professionals who value warmth, discretion, and partnership in their home. Their household also includes a lovable mutt (no allergies required!) and is filled with laughter and a sense of purpose. The ideal candidate is confident, resourceful, and proactive; a self-starter who takes initiative, keeps track of household inventory, runs errands as needed, and finds joy in helping the family’s daily life run smoothly. A calm, loving demeanor and great sense of humor will go a long way in this home. While driving is not required, it’s certainly a plus. A valid passport is a must, as the family enjoys travel, including trips home to Los Angeles, where they will spend Thanksgiving. Candidates must also be comfortable around high-profile individuals and maintain the utmost professionalism and confidentiality at all times. The family offers a competitive salary, two weeks of paid vacation, five paid sick days, and a monthly health care stipend. They are also open to hiring a separate weekend nanny to round out their support team.
