As a Philanthropic Relationship Officer, you’ll build and maintain relationships with high-value donors and partners, ensuring projects and programs receive vital support. You’ll take a proactive approach to donor engagement—identify opportunities, build strong connections, and secure funding for key projects. Manage donor relationships, proposals, acquittals, financial reporting, and project milestones, while supporting high-value donor events to grow our philanthropic network. This role primarily supports initiatives within our Hospital and Aged Care networks, with specific focus areas discussed during the recruitment process. Your part in our UnitingCare team: Deliver on all contractual and gift obligations, including project milestones, stakeholder engagement, marketing, events, communications, and reporting. Manage financial reporting to ensure transparency and accountability. Oversee project planning and deliverables to meet timelines and objectives. Research, prepare, and submit proposals and acquittals to secure and maintain donor support. Collaborate with internal teams to identify donors and develop donation pathways aligned with organizational goals. Maintain accurate donor records and relationship activities in Salesforce CRM. Build and nurture strong relationships with philanthropic partners, understanding their motivations and ensuring regular engagement. Identify and engage high-value donors, including individuals, corporates, and philanthropic entities. Connect donors with business stakeholders to create funding and collaboration opportunities. Plan and deliver networking events to strengthen philanthropic networks. Provide regular reporting on donor activity, moves management, and donations via Salesforce CRM. What makes a difference for us? Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies. This may include a Nationally Coordinated Police Check, Right to Work in Australia Check, Insolvency Check Tertiary qualifications in fundraising, marketing, sales or business or equivalent experience in similar role Proven ability to build relationships that deliver financial outcomes, including securing gifts through proposals and strategic asks. Experience managing multiple priorities and making sound decisions under pressure. Strong project management skills from conception to completion. Track record of achieving income targets through relationship-based fundraising or sales. Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with diverse stakeholders. Experience in budgeting, tracking, and monitoring. Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms. What makes a difference for you?
