JOB DESCRIPTION:
At Regions, the Philanthropic Solutions (PS) Trust Support Administrator oversees the administration of accounts in Philanthropic Solutions, including Individually Managed Accounts (IMA), custody, and trust accounts, ensuring account administration follows the fiduciary program and procedures, and develop structures designed to achieve those objectives.
Primary Responsibilities
Provides fiduciary review of all documentation, including governing documents for Wealth Management accounts
Partners with PS leadership, acting as subject matter expert in fiduciary trust or nonprofit accounts to the field
Works closely with the PS Advisors to provide coaching and training on systems, policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements
Supports and may conduct Annual Administrative and Compliance Reviews for clients in conjunction with the assigned Advisor
Supports and may supply Portfolio Managers with documentation of non-standard asset reviews for Annual Investment reviews
Leads the investment review exceptions process
Leads the administrative review exceptions process
Remains abreast with industry trends to ensure prudent administration and investment management
Oversees the account opening process for all new PS business
Facilitates the non-discretionary distribution process, communicating with Relationship Teams when necessary
Facilitates the discretionary distribution and action process
Provides oversight of Required Distributions
Manages tax coordination
Supports PS Advisor retention and expansion of trust and investment management clients
Takes responsibility for ensuring all accounts comply with applicable internal programs and procedures
Maintains strong investment management knowledge, beyond traditional asset allocation
Oversees risk-related projects and follow up items from Wealth Management Risk and Compliance
May provide support for specific PS products including vendor management
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in related field
Five (5) years of Trust Administration, Estate/Tax Law, Financial Planning, or related experience
Preferences
Juris Doctorate (JD), Master of Laws (LLM/Estates), or Master of Business Administration (MBA), however this position will not be authorized to practice law on behalf of Regions Bank.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Accredited Investment Fiduciary
