Position Summary: A Phlebotomist collects and processes blood specimens for testing in the laboratory. * Labels, processes and delivers specimens for testing. * Collects blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques. * Maintains equipment and medical supplies. * Assists with coordinating and conducting blood drives, including interviewing and screening donors. What we are looking for: * High School Diploma or GED preferred. * Current Phlebotomy certification through ASCP, AMT or NHA preferred. * Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. * Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. * Laboratory experience preferred.
