The Phlebotomist is responsible for collecting blood and other specimens from patients for medical testing. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Perform venepuncture safely and proficiently. Collect specimens following proper procedures and labelling standards.
Verify patient identity and maintain accurate records in EMIS system. Ensure proper handling, storage, and transportation of samples. Prepare and maintain phlebotomy equipment and work area. Follow all safety, infection control, and confidentiality protocols.
Provide compassionate care. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff
