PRN (As Needed) Shift: Day/Evening/Nights Weekend and holiday rotation Position Function: Under the direct supervision of phlebotomy supervisor or designee, performs clerical, phlebotomy (all age/population groups), computer functions pertaining to ordering and collection, EKG, vitals, collection of blood specimens off site including nursing home patients, and other patient care duties in a patient care unit/area.

Responsibilities

The phlebotomist performs clerical and phlebotomy duties under supervision, including blood specimen collection from various patient populations. Additional responsibilities include EKGs, taking vitals, and other patient care tasks.
