FTE: 1.000000 Standard Hours: 40.00 Shift: 1st Shift Details: Monday through Friday, start times vary between 0645-0945 and end times between 1515-1830. Approximately every 5th weekend at the North Hills and Tosa location 0745-1145 or 0800-1200. Job Summary: Responsible for phlebotomy, specimen processing, customer service and provides general office support in a clinic setting. EXPERIENCE: Completion of an approved Phlebotomy program of 6 months or related health care experience including direct patient contact is required. Phlebotomy experience with a minimum of 100 venipunctures is preferred. EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent is preferred. LICENSURE: ASCP certification preferred. TRAINING: Formal training in phlebotomy, Medical Assistant training or equivalent or Health Unit Coordinator diploma is preferred. SPECIAL SKILLS: Knowledge of medical terminology.
