We’re seeking a dedicated full-time team member, with the option of a 4-day workweek. Our lab is closed on weekends, offering a balanced work-life schedule.

Requirements:

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) (preferred)
  • Previous phlebotomy work experience (preferred)
  • Basic computer and filing skills
  • Attention to detai

Responsibilities:

  • Perform venipuncture and other laboratory procedures according to established policies and protocols.
  • Provide a warm and courteous greeting to patients, embodying GMA’s commitment to relationship-based care.
  • Conduct specimen collections, including venipunctures, heel and finger sticks, therapeutic phlebotomies, and breath tests.
  • Properly label, handle, and store biological specimens, including centrifuging and transferring, while identifying potential issues that may impact test performance.
  • Review and process lab orders in patient EHR systems, ensuring accuracy and addressing any discrepancies for tests entered by providers, nurses, or MAs.
  • Ensure compliance with Medicare requirements, including proper execution of ABNs when necessary.
