Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 1801 Lind Ave in Renton, WA Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm, overtime and rotating weekends may be required Job Responsibilities: Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Must have valid Washington issued Phlebotomy License or have application for Phlebotomy License filed with the Washington State Department of Health at time of hire. Preferred Qualifications: 1 or more years of experience working as a phlebotomist Additional Job Standards: Able to pass a standardized color blindness test Flexibility to work overtime as needed Exceptional customer service Strong communication skills; both written and verbal Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision At Labcorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives. We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work in either a Patient Service Center or Client Office or Hospital. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. QUARTERLY INCENTIVE BONUS PROGRAM * Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics Pay Range: $21.87 to $32.28 per hour All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience and the terms of the collective bargaining agreement between Dynacare Northwest, Inc. and United Food and Commercial Workers Union, Local 21.
