Description

Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a casual Phlebotomist to work in our Laboratory. The incumbent is to collect venous, arterial and capillary blood specimens for analysis by the laboratory technical staff. Qualifications * Junior College/Technical School strongly preferred. * At least 6-months experience as a Phlebotomist or certification from an accredited phlebotomy program required * CPR Certification required * ABG Certification required * Score of 75% or greater on Medical Terminology exam required * National Phlebotomy Certification preferred

Responsibilities

The incumbent is responsible for collecting venous, arterial, and capillary blood specimens for analysis by the laboratory technical staff. This role is based in the Laboratory at Cabell Huntington Hospital.
