IVI RMA North America network of state-of-the-art fertility practices in the United States, is currently seeking a Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant to join our growing San Francisco, CA location! This is a full-time position Monday-Friday 6:30am-3pm with rotating weekends and holidays. The Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant will promote and restore patients’ health by assisting in the nursing process and supporting physicians and other multidisciplinary team members with hands-on patient care. You will help to create a positive experience for our patients and ensure that patients receive high-quality service by assisting clinical team with patient care. Essential Functions and Accountabilities: * Assist Physicians with clinical procedures * Follow proper protocols for all procedures * Practice phlebotomy * Accurately document ultrasound measurements, provider comments and use appropriate stim templates while chaperoning ultrasounds. * Clean exam rooms and equipment per protocol. * Set up and stock examination and procedure rooms. * Maintain clinical supplies inventory. * Specimen collection, processing for in-house and outside laboratories. * Manage Lanfax for outside labs, reports, results. Enter results and email to provider team for review. * Provide patients with information regarding upcoming procedures and reassurance/comfort before, during and after procedures. Academic Training: * Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program – preferred 1. Studies level: Certification 2.
