JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist or Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in laboratory procedures and patient care, ensuring high-quality service and support in a clinical setting. This role involves working closely with patients, performing various clinical tasks, and assisting healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional medical services.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in a clinical or hospital setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
  • Familiarity with laboratory techniques and procedures, including blood sampling and phlebotomy.
  • Ability to perform specimen collection/processing accurately and efficiently.
  • Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to care.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with patients and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Perform specimen collection and processing, including blood sampling and venipuncture.
  • Conduct laboratory collection procedures and techniques.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of laboratory results.
  • Provide excellent patient service by addressing inquiries and offering support during visits.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate efficient patient flow within the facility.
  • Ensure compliance with medical terminology standards and maintain a clean working environment.
