Changing Lives.® The University of Iowa Health Care Department of Nursing is seeking to fill Phlebotomy Technician I positions to perform phlebotomy/specimen collection and a variety of laboratory tasks related to phlebotomy, labeling specimens, telephone inquiries, and distribution of phlebotomy supplies. Minimum Eligibility Requirements: High school graduation or equivalent Special Qualifications: Previous public contact/customer service experience Desirable Qualifications: Completion of a phlebotomy training program or previous phlebotomy experience Minimum six (6) months previous experience working in a healthcare setting Basic computer skills Previous experience with Personal Protective Equipment Previous patient contact experience Application Process: Please include a resume with your submission.
