  Photo Editor About the job Department: Digital FLSA Status: Non-exempt Employment Type: Full-time Wage range: $18-23 per hour Reports to: Photo Studio Manager Location: Zumiez Home Office – Lynnwood, WA (in-office) Effective Date: 2/19/26   Position Purpose Zumiez is seeking a talented Photo Editor to join our in-house photo studio team. In this role, you'll play a key part in bringing our products to life through high-quality post-production work. You'll be responsible for editing product photography from initial capture to final delivery across Zumiez.com, print catalogs, email campaigns, social media, and more.   We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and can balance creativity with efficiency. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-driven, and a proactive problem solver who can maintain quality while managing a high-volume workflow. Above all, you should have a passion for photography and the art of post-production.   Essential Functions * Prepare images from studio camera for website by selecting, retouching, color correcting, clipping, and cropping imagery. * Maintain the set standard for image post-production quality and adhere to established guidelines, ensuring that images are consistent and accurate. * Able to produce at least 100 images in a day. * Accurately name, organize, and archive image files. * Uphold daily production deadlines by uploading image files to the image host site at the end of each day. * Work with internal business partners to ensure that instructions for editing are completed to specifications for catalog and other special projects. * Work with Photo Studio and Production Team to resolve missing images and collaborate on improvements. * Other projects and duties, as assigned, by manager or other department leaders.   Job Qualifications and Requirements * 1 -2 years' experience in digital photography post-production. * Proficient in the latest Adobe Photoshop, Bridge, and Lightroom applications. * Proficiency in Photoshop must include selection tools, clipping paths, layer masks, clone, and healing tools.
