Description Summary: The Product Image Technician edits and enhances images of products (fabrics, wall-covering, trimming, hardware, furniture, pillows, rugs, leather). They engineer and replicate images to internal and customer defined specifications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Coordinate with Marketing Photography department for product launch priorities - Utilize Photoshop and Capture One to edit and enhance images (color correct, direction, focus, lighting, straightening, cropping) - Perform quality assurance procedures to ensure product/image correctness - Engineer and replicate images based on internal and customer-defined specifications - Access internal inventory application on AS400 for repeatability dimensions - Determine repeatability of the fabric and extract a repeatable image to create a "tile" based on internal and customer-defined specifications - Validate accuracy of naming convention - Assign images to designated permanent folders - Upload images for approval - Correct image errors - Track and report progress on a scheduled basis - Assist with keeping the studio and photo storage area neat and organized - Perform other duties as assigned - Job duties are subject to change by management Non-Essential Duties: Assist in prepping product for photography Assist in flat shot table shooting. Assist in cleaning and maintaining work environment Requirements Qualifications: - Associate or bachelor's degree in photography or related field preferred - 1-2 years of Photoshop experience/skills required - 1-2 years of photography knowledge and experience is a must - Capture One experience/skills preferred - Attention to detail and organizational skills are a must - Ability to work with supervisory direction - Intermediate MAC experience or greater required - Basic math skills a must - Must be able to lift up to 20lbs continually - Good oral and written communication skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment - Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team Physical Requirements: The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to the following: In terms of an 8-hour workday, this position requires: 6 hours sitting 2 hours standing Activity: This following shows the actual time spent on each activity for this position.
