QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years experience in a professional photo lab or studio environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Photoshop, Lightroom, and digital retouching techniques
  • Strong understanding of color management, ICC profiles, and print workflows
  • Experience with photo restoration and working with legacy media
  • Familiarity with fine art printing standards and materials
  • A Plus: Experience with film development, darkroom printing, and analog workflows
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality digital photo retouching and restoration using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom
  • Operate and maintain fine art printers (e.g., Epson, Canon) for archival pigment printing
  • Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure color accuracy and print quality
  • Handle scanning of film and prints with attention to resolution and tonal fidelity
  • Assist in daily lab operations including file management, order processing, equipment maintenance and customer service
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow archival standards for handling prints and negatives
  • Ability to support film processing and darkroom printing tasks as needed a plus
