Peat’s Office Equipment is a well-established I.T company that has been providing Total Business Solutions to Echuca and surrounding District since 1976. We are a growing team of 14 persons dedicated to providing businesses with all their technical and technology needs through sales and service.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, self-motivated and customer-focused person to join our team as a skilled and dedicated Photocopier Technician. The role involves maintaining our fleet of 350+ contracted machines in the field, mainly consisting of Konica and Kyocera brands. We’re looking for individuals who thrive in problem-solving environments and are eager to showcase their technical prowess in Photocopier servicing and maintenance.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in MFD/copier and printer repairs and maintenance highly regarded. Including examining and testing machines and equipment to diagnose faults.
  • Proven experience with Konica and Kyocera products (desirable).
  • Strong technical aptitude, network I.T proficiency and troubleshooting skills to adjust, repair, and replace worn and defective parts, and maintaining machines and equipment.
  • Comfortable loading and configuring software on PC’s.
  • Ability to make decisions and work autonomously.
  • Versatile and willing to assist with a range of tasks.
  • Professional manner and presentation.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills. Installing machines and advising users of correct operating procedures to prevent malfunction.
  • Ability to apply knowledge of electrical, electronic and mechanical principles in commissioning and maintaining machines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong time-management skills.
  • Desire and willingness to learn and apply new skills across a range of business equipment.
  • A positive “can do” collaborative attitude.
  • Working with Childrens Certificate and Flu Vaccination.
  • Heavy lifting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed repairs and routine maintenance on multifunction devices/copiers and printers, specialising in Konica and Kyocera brands.
  • Utilise basic computer skills and expand upon your networking knowledge as needed.
  • Efficiently load and configure drivers on PC’s to demonstrate your technical versatility.
  • Make independant decisions and exhibit a broad range of skills in various scenarios.
  • Travel to customers sites using a provided company car and deliver/install equipment with our delivery van.
  • Respond promptly to service calls and provide timely resolutions to technical issues.
  • Train end-users on the proper use and maintenance of photocopiers.

Schedule:
