Description Scentsy is looking for a Photographer to combine artistic talent, technical expertise, and composition skills to produce imagery that provides a visual story that fits within the Scentsy brand. **NOTE - please include your portfolio in order to move forward in consideration for this position. What You'll Do: Capture dynamic still photography in the studio, on location, and events Edit, retouch, and color correct product photography for websites, advertising, email, social, print, etc. Collaborate with Creative team on all aspects of the photography process including pre-production, production, and post-production Provide technical photography expertise during photo shoots Direct professional and non-professional talent from all age ranges during photo shoots Troubleshoot and plan for anticipated problems during shoots or projects Manage all image assets, cataloging and organizing the imagery on corporate servers Assist in managing photo equipment maintenance and inventory Maintain photo studio Collaborate and participate in brainstorming sessions with Creative teams to ensure creative goals are met and assets are delivered accurately Assist in developing processes and/or procedures around the photographic process Assist in estimating production costs and tracking budget Research and recommend capital expenditure as related to imaging and departmental growth as directed Train others on photographic and editing processes Perform all other assigned tasks and requirements as needed We're Looking For: Bachelors of Fine Arts Photography, Graphic Design, or equivalent work experience Professional photography experience Portfolio required Thorough knowledge of photography processes, components, and equipment Thorough knowledge of and demonstrated ability with DSLR cameras, strobes, and corresponding equipment Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects components at a fast pace under pressure Strong knowledge of studio and location lighting and related equipment Motivated to learn new skills and new approaches Strong verbal and interpersonal communications skills Self-starter with the ability to work under minimal supervision Ability to be flexible and adaptable Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Strong knowledge of Macintosh computers and all applicable photography software including, Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Capture One Ability to move around and lift equipment as needed to shoot photographs
Responsibilities
The Photographer will capture dynamic still photography in various settings and be responsible for editing, retouching, and color correcting product imagery for multiple marketing channels. This role involves collaborating with the Creative team on all phases of photography and directing talent during shoots.
