About the Role Talarico for Texas is seeking a full-time photographer to join the James Talarico campaign. This position is in-house and will require frequent travel across the state of Texas. The ideal candidate is highly independent, flexible, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments with quick turnaround times. Responsibilities Travel statewide to capture high-quality photography at 2–4 events per week. Document events, speakers, crowds, meetings, and behind-the-scenes moments in a dynamic and engaging style. Edit and deliver photos quickly, ensuring assets are ready within tight deadlines. Work closely with the communications and digital team to produce content aligned with messaging. Maintain and organize photo libraries for easy access and future use. Provide creative input on visual strategy and storytelling. Adapt to different settings, including rallies, press conferences, galas, churches, and community events. Qualifications Proven experience as a professional photographer, with a portfolio showcasing event and candid photography. Strong editing skills with proficiency in Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar tools. Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments under pressure. Willingness and ability to travel frequently across Texas, sometimes on short notice. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Owns and maintains professional-grade photography equipment. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Experience working in political, nonprofit, or fast-paced event environments.
