Description

We are looking for a talented and motivated PHP Developer to join our client team in Mississauga, ON. This is 100% onsite role with no possibility of Hybrid or Remote.
The role covers both backend and front-end work, along with database and API integration.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Experience: Freshers are welcome. Prior projects, internships, or strong coding portfolios are a plus.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Proficient in PHP and familiar with at least one framework (e.g., Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony).
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
  • Basic knowledge of PL/SQL (Oracle) or T-SQL (MS SQL) for database operations.
  • Understanding of RESTful API design and integration.
  • Good debugging and testing habits.
  • Familiarity with Linux-based environments.

BONUS SKILLS (NOT REQUIRED BUT NICE TO HAVE):

  • Experience with Git or other version control systems.
  • Understanding of Agile development practices.
  • Awareness of web security best practices.
  • Exposure to Docker, AWS, or other cloud/container environments.
Responsibilities
  • PHP Development: Write clean, maintainable PHP code. Use frameworks and libraries to build dynamic web apps.
  • Front-End Development: Build responsive interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
  • Database Handling: Work with PL/SQL (Oracle) and T-SQL (MS SQL) for managing and optimizing databases.
