Whilst you will be based in our Norfolk Office, you will also have the option to work remotely from home once you have become more established. You will also be required to attend meetings in our Norfolk Office, must be English speaking and ideally based in Norfolk/Suffolk.
We are currently seeking a highly experienced PHP Developer to join our growing I.T team based in Norfolk.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- experience developing in Opencart and Wordpress
- the ability to learn and work with our current custom PHP based ecommerce engine
- a portfolio of previous work
- understanding of best SEO practices
- proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript / jQuery
- a strong understanding of MySQL, including database design best practices and query optimisation.
- front end as well as back end development experience.
- excellent problem-solving skills
- experience with CSS/HTML desktop and mobile design integration.
- experience maintaining web servers (cPanel & SSH experience preferable)

Ideally we are looking for a full-time person, but if you can only manage part-time, and if you have the right skills and attitude, then this is a great opportunity to be involved in an interesting project.
Hours will ideally be Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm but can be flexible for the right applicant. Weekend or evening support may be required in rare situations e.g. server outages or urgent site programming issues.
Salary dependent on experience.

Pay: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
