Here’s what you’ll be doing as Senior PHP Engineer: Own and evolve core payment system Drive technical architecture and design decisions Collaborate closely with stakeholders and external partners Lead complex projects end to end, from technical discovery and design through implementation, rollout, and ongoing optimization Identify opportunities for improvement and deliver solutions Help the team to get better by providing feedback on pull requests, mentoring, knowledge sharing, and suggestions how to improve team processes Here’s what we’d love from our new Senior PHP Engineer: We don’t expect you to meet every single requirement listed. PHP Symfony MySQL Docker Knowledge of/willingness to learn .NET Ability to solve large and complex problems Ability to deliver solutions from requirements gathering to monitoring performance in production Ability to ensure the quality of the delivered work Ability to use AI to improve productivity without negative impact on the quality Ability to cover the code changes with meaningful and thorough automated tests Experience integrating 3rd party providers Experience with monitoring the application performance And if you can also do this stuff, even better: Temporal - big advantage if you have some experience React - we use it only for internal tools Laravel - legacy monolith service that we are taking apart is built on it What we believe At TransferGo, we offer competitive rewards to all people.
