We are looking for an experienced PHP software developer with strong DevOps skills to be part of our team in Dubai.
Delupe is a Google Premium Comparison Shopping Service Partner and a Microsoft Bing Shopping Partner, promoting shopping ads for over 10,000 merchants globally.
As a software developer, you will be working on Google and Bing Shopping APIs, Partner sites APIs as well as Delupe backend and frontend development. You should have knowledge and understanding of online business.
We expect you to have a relevant university degree with a programming background and a solid understanding of Databases, Linux server setup, manage, and maintenance.

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE THAT WE WILL VALUE:

· Experience working with high-load systems.
· Familiarity with monitoring tools
· Prior experience in e-commerce or online business.
· English: Intermediate or higher (spoken & written).
· 4+ years of experience as a PHP Developer.
· Any experience with AI-based projects will be a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Maintain and optimize existing infrastructure and code.
· Monitor software and systems to detect and resolve issues proactively.
· Design and implement solutions to improve system efficiency and reduce risk.
· Automate processes to scale and speed up operations.
· Ensure smooth deployment and maintenance of applications.

WHAT IS NEEDED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE?

· PHP Development – Strong knowledge of PHP and experience with Symfony or any other PHP framework.
· Frontend Development – Experience with JavaScript, Vue.js (Vuetify preferred), and TypeScript.
· Database Management – Proficiency with managing and handling PostgreSQL. Any experience with distributed databases will be a plus.
· Linux Administration – Experience managing servers, networks, and security.
· Docker & CI/CD – Ability to deploy and run applications in Docker containers and manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
· Version Control – Hands-on experience with Git (pull, push, merge, resolve conflicts, branch handling, etc.).
· Problem-solving – Ability to troubleshoot issues in production environments and support the full development lifecycle.
· Networking Concepts – Understanding of network protocols, security, and optimization.
· Collaboration – Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
