ICF seeks a full-stack PHP web application developer to help us develop, maintain, and support mission-critical applications for a large Federal agency and long-time client. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years of experience as a full-stack software developer, primarily using PHP, to produce logically written and maintainable code.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, but candidates with an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 5+ years of experience working with a combination of MySQL and PostgreSQL. Additionally, understand database terminology, and be able to write complex queries joining multiple tables.
  • 5+ years of experience creating user interfaces for web-based applications with HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS.
  • AJAX experience in conjunction with jQuery.
  • Code versioning system experience, e.g., Subversion or GIT.
  • Prior experience working with third-party libraries or frameworks.
  • Communicate well with team members, clients, and other collaborators.
  • Logically analyze issues and provide solutions to solve problems.
Responsibilities
  • Use your skills with PHP, MySQL, PostgreSQL, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, and other technologies to design, develop, maintain, and support sophisticated PHP-based web applications, using an Agile methodology.
  • Participate in daily scrum meetings.
  • Analyze, test, and resolve issues with application software.
  • Adapt existing software to meet customer needs.
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop technical documentation.
