Are you interested in exploring fulfilling career growth with a team who values hard work, good times, and reveling in the success of launching cool, innovative projects? Then you may be perfect for the position at Rhyme Digital.
Rhyme is an innovative digital marketing agency in Easthampton, MA, using coding strategically with digital marketing, design, data and analytics to make results happen for our clients. The ideal candidate will have between 2-5 years experience working with PHP-based web projects, with some examples of backend code and/or frontend projects for us to review. Candidates should be flexible and able to adapt different programming concepts to their projects, as we often will work with a variety of applications and frameworks on any given day. And, like most programmers, they should have experience using the tools at their disposal to get work done faster (AI, Google-fu).

  • Familiar with using an IDE such as PHPStorm or equivalent.
  • Familiar with using Git/GitHub or a similar version control system.

  • Understand and speak to all aspects of the software development life cycle (e.g., requirements, analysis, design, implementation, testing, and documentation).
  • Familiarity with using CRM’s for email marketing is a plus.
  • Familiarity with LAMP/LEMP stack is helpful.
  • Familiarity with Symfony PHP framework a huge plus.

Duties will include, but may not be limited to:

  • Troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
  • Supporting other developers by providing advice, coaching, and educational opportunities.
  • Making technical decisions and offering direction for one or many projects.
