How You’ll Help Us Connect the World: As an R&D Engineer, you will be responsible for Layer-1 (PHY) software of ONECELL gNB/eNB product as part of the ONECELL Division. You will work closely with multiple teams to deliver high quality features in Layer-1. This role will be based in Bangalore, Karnataka. You Will Make an Impact By: Developing and maintaining PHY Layer software for 5G NR uplink (PUSCH, PUCCH) and downlink (PDSCH, PDCCH) features. Implementing and validating Layer-1 processing for uplink/downlink channels and support feature integration across the PHY stack. Debugging PHY Layer issues using logs, traces, and lab test setups to ensure feature stability and performance. Collaborating with MAC, RF, and system teams to integrate and validate PHY Layer functionalities. Optimizing PHY Layer software for performance, reliability, and compliance with LTE/5G wireless standards. Required Qualifications for Consideration: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication, Computer Science or any other related field. At least 3 years of experience in coding and testing Downlink/Uplink signal chains for 3GPP 4G/5G standards with a minimum of 1 year as 3GPP PHY-layer software developer Exposure to Intel FlexRAN framework for 5G-NR or LTE Debugging using QXDM logs, FAPI & ORAN FH packet-captures Knowledge of RRC & MAC procedures related to UE RRC Connection life cycle in LTE, NSA, SA Strong expertise in C/C++ programming with ability to implement/test/troubleshoot SW for multi-threaded, multi-processor architectures Exposure to Linux based developer environment You Will Excite Us If You: Have experience in troubleshooting 3GPP PHY layer using MATLAB models for 4G/5G Downlink/Uplink signal chains Are familiar with test equipment such as Signal Generators & VSA Have knowledge of Layer-1 DSP algorithms Why ANDREW?
