The Wireless Communication group at Apple is a rapidly growing, high energy, results-oriented team. The team is responsible for the system design integration of a Wireless IC solution. We are looking for a forward-thinking, motivated and hardworking Engineers to be a part of Apple’s new product introduction process from prototype to mass production. DESCRIPTION Design and development of signal processing intensive SoCs for wireless communication, as part of the Apple wireless connectivity organization. The Apple eco-system leverages multiple wireless technologies to enable a user experience like no other. The wireless connectivity team leads the way in developing the ASICs enabling this experience in current and future Apple products. By leveraging state of art processes and tools, unique proprietary features and advanced architecture, the team aims to deliver best in class wireless connectivity solutions. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years of experience in the field of PHY/RTL development Experience in signal processing development (modem, radar, image processing), including algorithms development and RTL implementation Experience and proficiency with using MATLAB/C for algorithm development, modeling, and simulation Good ability to work independently and in small teams Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering / Computer Engineering PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience in low power SoC development – highly preferred Experience in wireless communication protocols: knowledge of either BlueTooth or WLAN IEEE 802.11 protocol – highly preferred
