Corporate FT/ DAYS/ 80 hours per pay Summary of Position The Physician Contracting Specialist will collaborate with the Director of Physician Contracting, legal counsel, and operational leadership in the development, review, maintenance, and documentation of contractual agreements. Nature & Scope The Physician Contracting Specialist will ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state rules and regulations and assure integrity and relevance of contractual agreements between physicians and Premier Physician Network. This will include drafting and reviewing contracts, developing standards relative to requesting and drafting contracts, and establishing standards for the contract management system. Principle Duties and Responsibilities May include some or all of the following: 1. Draft physician contracts and perform required legal research. 2. Prepare, review, and analyze legal documents accurately and efficiently. 3. Assist the Director of Physician Contracting and operational leadership with the preparation of Decision Documents, along with compliance and audit documentation and research. 4. Help identify and collaborate to solve physician contracting issues as they arise. 5. Provide support to Director of Physician Contracting and PPN operational leadership. 6. Successfully work in a collaborative and productive environment. 7. Adhere to behavioral and performance standards for Premier Physician Network. 8. Responsible for other special projects and duties as assigned. Qualifications • Associate Degree in a related field required. • Minimum three years of contract review, paralegal, or equivalent experience required; preferably in a law firm or the healthcare field. • Proven knowledge of legal terminology and principles. • Demonstrated organizational and prioritization skills. • Intermediate computer skills including Excel and other Office applications required. • Must demonstrate effective and efficient communication ability, both written and verbal, with coworkers and varied levels of leadership. • Possess strong decision-making skills and demonstrate the confidence to uphold them.
