Position: Physical Education Mentor

We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative educator to lead dynamic lessons, foster collaboration, and empower learners to thrive through active, engaging, and personalized PE experiences.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years teaching PE in a similar setting, with a proven ability to innovate and adapt the curriculum to diverse learner needs.
• Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities, with a commitment to promoting inclusivity and well-being.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a PE Mentor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering an engaging and inclusive physical education curriculum across primary and secondary levels. With access to state-of-the-art facilities and resources, you will inspire learners to embrace a healthy and active lifestyle while developing key skills like collaboration, resilience, and a growth mindset.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Subject Knowledge: Deliver high-quality PE lessons tailored to the needs, abilities, and interests of learners, promoting curiosity and creativity.
• Curriculum Design and Adaptation: Plan and implement engaging learning opportunities that align with the British National Curriculum and extend through Citizens’ innovative approaches.
• Learning and Teaching: Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating environment that supports learners’ development in physical education.
• Collaboration and Community: Work closely with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to enhance the overall PE experience for learners.
