DESCRIPTION:

Shakopee Public Schools is looking for a Physical Education (PE - 0.6 FTE) Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year to join the amazing staff at East Middle School.

JOB SUMMARY:

Provides instruction in content area in accordance with each student’s ability and creates a classroom environment that fosters student learning and personal growth. Establishes effective working relationships with students and parents, works collaboratively with other staff members.

Qualifications:

• Valid MN teaching licenses in Physical Education and Health
• Experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated instruction
• Strong classroom management skills
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to build successful relationships with students, parents and staff
