ABOUT IQRA ISLAMIC SCHOOL:

Iqra Islamic School is a faith-based K-10 educational institution. While our school upholds Islamic values, this teacher position is focused exclusively on teaching the Manitoba curriculum in various subjects and does not involve teaching religious content.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated female Physical Education Teacher to join our K-10 school community. This role is part of our commitment to maintaining a balanced PE team with both male and female educators, ensuring a well-rounded experience for all students. As a Physical Education Teacher, you’ll create an inclusive, supportive, and engaging environment where students can develop their physical skills, teamwork abilities, and a lifelong appreciation for health and fitness. If you’re passionate about promoting wellness and are excited to work in a collaborative team, we’d love to have you on board!

VALUED EXPERIENCE:

We deeply appreciate the knowledge and perspective that experienced educators bring to our school community. While we welcome applications from teachers at all stages of their careers, individuals with previous classroom experience will be highly valued in this role.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Employment subject to clear Criminal Record (with vulnerable sector search) and Child Abuse Registry checks.
Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the curriculum and meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment that promotes student learning and well-being.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and materials.
