Job Description CSA – Physical Education Badminton Teacher Purpose of Role To train and coach students in badminton, developing their skills, fitness, and sportsmanship while supporting the school’s physical education and competitive sports programs. Key Responsibilities Coaching & Training Plan and conduct badminton coaching sessions for students of different age groups. Teach fundamental and advanced badminton skills (grip, footwork, strokes, strategies). Develop structured training programs to improve performance and fitness. Identify and nurture talented players for competitive levels. Student Development Promote discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship among students. Encourage participation in badminton and physical fitness activities. Monitor student progress and provide individual feedback. Competition & Events Prepare students for inter-house, inter-school, and external tournaments. Organize selection trials and team practices. Accompany students for competitions and provide on-field coaching. Equipment & Facility Management Maintain badminton courts and ensure they are in good condition. Manage sports equipment such as rackets, shuttlecocks, and nets. Ensure safe usage of sports facilities and equipment. Administrative Responsibilities Maintain records of student participation and performance. Assist in organizing sports events, annual sports day, and activities.
