Are you an enthusiastic, proactive people person? genU is looking for Exercise Physiologist – Physical Health & Wellbeing Consultant to join our longstanding, purpose driven and values-based organisation to make a real difference to people’s lives.
In this role you will conduct comprehensive initial assessments, developing individualised exercise programs, monitoring client progress and making adjustments to their programs as needed, providing high quality practice to ensure optimal person-centred outcomes. You will be also working in different sites covering the Western Melbourne employment region.
Part of this role will assist job seekers to reach their goals through holistic healthcare, lifestyle modification and vocational guidance, empowering them to have a better quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Work with individuals on a one-to-one basis and in groups to support those experiencing physical health and or wellbeing concerns.
  • Conducting a range of assessments including functional capacity evaluation, musculoskeletal and fitness, worksite and ergonomic.
  • Prescribe clinical exercise with a focus on work conditioning and strengthening modelled on client focused short term interventions.
  • Delivering psycho-educational, work conditioning, manual handling, chronic pain management and strengthening group based program
