Lanmor Services is seeking a full-time Physical Security Engineer – Div 28 for an in-office position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and integrity of door and access control systems across all initiatives. This includes verifying that the correct door and access hardware, software, and system configurations are specified and applied during Internal Sales Reviews - providing technical support for any system-related issues that may arise throughout the system deployment. This role involves reviewing and updating materials, equipment, and hardware to ensure compliance with applicable codes, industry standards, and manufacturer specifications, while proactively mitigating potential warranty issues. The candidate will support the Sales Team by attending meetings, reviewing solutions, and specifying product details and part numbers, when needed. Core responsibilities include training and mentoring, assisting with operational design resolution, and contacting manufacturer representatives for technical support. The qualified candidate must demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in reviewing, interpreting, and designing access control and integrations, IP Surveillance and intrusion systems. Submittal, wiring diagrams, and floor plan review within Divisions 8 and 28 will also be required, as assigned by the Engineering Manager. The role requires active participation in ongoing education and certifications relevant to system integration technologies. Candidates must be comfortable working collaboratively with field technicians, clients, vendors, AHJ representatives, and internal teams, both in-person and remotely, ensuring the technical accuracy of all products prepared for review.
