Physical Security Project Manager position with New Era Technology offers you the following: Full Benefits Medical Dental Vision 401K match 29 PTO Days including company holidays The Physical Security Project Manager is responsible for the comprehensive planning, execution, monitoring, and control of projects to achieve objectives within the constraints of time, cost, scope, and quality, as outlined in the signed agreement. Candidate must have experience working with intrusion systems, access control systems and video surveillance systems. No VISA sponsorship available for this role. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to: Project Planning and Execution: Developing project plans, schedules, and budgets. Guiding, influencing, and motivating the team executing projects. Ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards. Resource Management: Managing project resources and stakeholders. Ensuring effective utilization of resources. Monitoring and Controlling: Monitoring project progress and performance Identifying, assessing, and managing risks and issues. Communication: Communicating with stakeholders and managing expectations. Ensuring adherence to project management standards and best practices. Identifying, assessing, and managing project risks and issues. COMPETENCIES: Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills to guide and motivate project teams. Ability to delegate tasks effectively and manage team dynamics. Identifying, assessing, and managing project risks and issues. Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address project challenges. Ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions. Experience in troubleshooting and resolving project issues. Communication and Negotiation Skills: Advanced communication skills to convey project goals and updates clearly to stakeholders. Strong negotiation skills to manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts. Experience in troubleshooting and resolving project issues. Financial Management: Financial management and budgeting skills to ensure projects are completed within budget. Ability to monitor project expenditures and manage financial resources efficiently. Experience in troubleshooting and resolving project issues. Risk Management: Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks. Experience in developing and implementing risk management plans. Experience in troubleshooting and resolving project issues. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). Advanced knowledge of project management tools and software. Possess a working knowledge of intrusion systems, access control systems, burglar alarms and/or video surveillance systems. REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Three to five years of experience working in a project environment, including relevant industry experience preferably with overall responsibility. Three to five years of experience working with intrusion systems, access control systems and video surveillance systems. Experience in troubleshooting and resolving project issues. PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelor’s Degree preferred. PMP or Equivalent Professional Certification EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: Full Time, 40 hours per week, plus overtime as needed TRAVEL: May need to travel on occasion to client site. Travel expectation is up to 10%. SALARY: $80,000 - $85,000/ year depending upon experience.
