Description

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of experience providing program support for personnel security, physical security, or emergency management programs for private sector or government programs
  • Experience with physical security assessments
  • Experience with physical security systems, video surveillance systems, intrusion detection systems, physical access control systems, and visitor management systems
  • Experience interpreting and implementing existing and new federal mandates for physical security for federally occupied facilities
  • Experience developing, reviewing, and updating program documents, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and daily and monthly reports
  • Experience developing, delivering, and participating in emergency response drills, tabletops, and exercises
  • Experience developing and delivering in-person and virtual training on topics, including security awareness training and active shooter response training
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Associate’s degree

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with data analytics using Microsoft products, including Excel and Power BI
  • Experience with Software House C-Cure 9000
  • Experience with badge and credentialing operations, including the General Services Administration (GSA) USAccess system
  • Experience with the National Incident Management System (NIMS) Incident Command System (ICS)
  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Interagency Security Committee (ISC) standards, policies, and best practices
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Security Administration or Criminal Justice field
  • ASIS Physical Security Professional (PSP) or Certified Protection Professional (CPP) Certification

Responsibilities

Provide onsite physical security support for a federal agency’s campus consisting of mixed office and laboratory spaces. Draft technical, stakeholder, and user guidance, standard operating procedures, presentations, training, and other communication materials to support physical security inspections and assessments, compliance monitoring, physical security program reviews, staff training, employee assistance, data analysis, and administrative tasks. Support emergency preparedness activities, including supporting the development of emergency response policies, procedures, and training. Evaluate the current threat environment, inform mitigation strategies, and drive decisions through the application of processes.
