JOB DESCRIPTION

Be part of a team that engineers, integrates, operates, and maintains electronic security services. These services include intrusion detection, access control, video surveillance. Monitor systems, databases, processes, and procedures. Identify and escalate matters requiring attention to the appropriate area. Perform work on projects and initiatives and assist in the assessment and implementation of internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. Coordinate the collection and/or compilation of data and compile reports. May assist in report development and analyzing data. Provide guidance, support and recommendations to Lines of Business and assist in the implementation of Risk/Audit/Compliance initiatives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • At least 2 years of experience within a total information technology (IT) environment
  • At least 5 years of experience with the design, development and support of technology infrastructure

EXPERIENCE SHOULD INCLUDE

  • Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s or AA degree and/or a minimum 5 years’ experience using Genetec, Mission Control, and DMP integrating it as a central station software.
  • Required Knowledge/Experience:
  • Security application systems, specifically in intrusion, access control, video surveillance, and building management systems.
  • Basic knowledge of IP network configuration.
  • Genetec Certified – Omnicast, Synergis
  • Experience utilizing DMP integration in Genetec and utilizing video analytics.
  • Experience supporting federal banking contracts.
  • Experience supporting International – specifically EU and GDPR requirements
  • Verifiable experience with March, Pacom, Verint
  • Access Control Systems: Programming and installation experience with Genetec and Mercury access control systems.
  • Video Management Systems: Programming experience with Genetec and March Networks video management systems.
  • Intrusion Alarm Systems: Programming experience with Digital Monitoring Products (DMP) intrusion alarm systems.
  • Building Management Systems: Programming experience with various building management systems.
  • Advanced IT skillset
  • Strong PC skills – SQL, ServiceNow, Excel, PowerBi, Sharepoint

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

  • Strong oral, technical writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to build productive relationships with team members, clients, and other network/system stakeholders.

BEHAVIORAL SKILLS:

  • Ability to balance high-quality standards with schedule pressures and a demanding environment.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Programming & Configuration: Program and configure various technology application systems by adding devices and configuring for operation.
  • Deployment Support: Provide system support to Field Integrators/LSPs in the field during deployment.
  • Testing & Troubleshooting: Assist with deploying/testing at the software level and provide troubleshooting support for access control, video, and building management systems.
  • System Monitoring: Monitor operational systems for errors and alerts, ensuring optimal system performance.
  • Documentation: Document daily functions and troubleshooting processes to create and revise playbooks.

THE ROLE OFFERS A HYBRID / FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE, WHICH MEANS THERE’S AN IN OFFICE EXPECTATION OF 3 OR MORE DAYS PER WEEK AND THE FLEXIBILITY TO WORK OUTSIDE THE OFFICE LOCATION FOR THE OTHER DAYS.
