Description POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for outstanding delivery of physical therapy services including evidence-based patient care and patient engagement while following company policies. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES - ESSENTIAL: TREATMENT This list of tasks is illustrative only and is not a comprehensive listing of all functions and tasks performed by position. Performs clinic care and physical therapist duties in accordance with the clinic and patients' needs. Promotes and has knowledge of and utilizes appropriate patient care protocol relating to the physical, cognitive, neurological, psychosocial, and functional needs for ANR’s patient population. Establishes physical therapy interventions based upon the evaluation and examination, physician orders, and patient’s goals for therapy. Competently performs appropriate physical therapy techniques and procedures. Provides for continuity of patient care through written and verbal communication with other health care professionals. Makes recommendations for needed patient care equipment prior to patient discharge and assists with acquisition of same as appropriate. Documents findings, patient progress, and all procedures performed within established time frames. Submits all patient billing at the end of each day. Instructs patients/family members in home programs. Demonstrates effective time management. Complies with quality improvement standards. Requirements ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Graduation from an approved school of physical therapy. Current physical therapy license in Arizona. Current CPR certification. BENEFICIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care which is age specific/appropriate for patients served. Basic computer knowledge. Appropriate interpersonal skills to enable positive interactions with patients/families, and other health care professionals.
