We are currently seeking a Full time or Part time Physical Therapy Assistant to join team at Patton State Hospital located in San Bernardino, California. Monday through Friday Day shift - $24.50 Medical, dental and vision The Physical Therapist Assistant works under the direction of the Physical Therapist to promote and maintain health by providing physical therapy services to incarcerated patients. Using a team approach, this professional provides quality care in a secure setting; with supervision, this professional implements the patients’ care plans for rehabilitation and helps mentally and/or physically impaired inmates to participate in tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance their performance Qualifications • High school diploma or GED equivalent required • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program required • Current Physical Therapy Assistant license in California state • Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) • Corrections experience preferred • Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check Indmhm
