Position Summary: As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will be responsible for providing direct clinical care to patients following the supervising Physical Therapist’s plan of care. You will support Physical Therapists and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality, and in a timely manner. This position will see a variety of orthopedic conditions including acute work-related injuries, pre, and post-surgical injuries and conditions, and workplace wellness and injury prevention. The therapy division of Agile Occupational Medicine is a growing business emphasizing quality care with the highest standards. The Agile approach is focused on speed of recovery while we keep the patient engaged in the process, with aggressive scheduling and follow-up, getting injured workers back to work and life as soon as possible. Specialties: Orthopedics, sports medicine, manual therapy, ergonomics, injury prevention. Responsibilities: * Execute plan of care and follow-up treatment visits with a focus on rehabilitation. * Instruct and counsel patients effectively in exercises, home programs, and patient education. * Maintain open communication with the patient, supervising therapist, and referring physician (when applicable) regarding the patient's plan of care and progress. * Complete timely and accurate documentation. * Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work. * Knowledge of physical therapy office management systems and procedures. * Social perceptiveness and service-oriented. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Strong organizational and planning skills. * Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software. Requirements: * Must be a graduate of an accredited PTA Program. * Active (or in progress) California PTA Licensure. * Outpatient experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate. New graduates are welcome to apply. Work Schedule: Flexible scheduling options, including 5×8-hour shifts or 4×10-hour shifts. Salary: Starting compensation range $75,000-$95,000 annually. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
