JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to provide high-quality patient care across various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, skilled nursing facilities, and home health. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as proficiency in medical terminology. The Physical Therapist Assistant will play a crucial role in implementing care plans, assisting with discharge planning, and ensuring optimal recovery for patients of all ages.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and physiotherapy practices.
  • Experience in inpatient settings or skilled nursing facilities is preferred; home health experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with care plans and discharge planning processes.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

  • Participate in discharge planning to facilitate smooth transitions for patients leaving care.
