Physical Therapist Assistant Location: Hillsborough, NJ Position: Full-Time Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Patient Volume: 1 patient per hour Salary: $70,000 to $80,000 annually, based on experience Job Summary: This Physical Therapist Assistant position centers on helping patients regain strength, improve movement, and stay engaged in their recovery process. You will work closely with the Physical Therapist to carry out treatment plans, support patient goals, and provide direct care during each session. It is a practical role for someone who enjoys structured clinical work, patient connection, and being part of measurable progress. Responsibilities: Carry out therapy treatments as directed by the Physical Therapist Assist patients with stretching, strengthening, balance, and mobility exercises Monitor patient tolerance and response during treatment sessions Communicate patient progress and concerns to the supervising therapist Complete accurate and timely treatment notes Support patient understanding of exercises and recovery goals Help keep treatment spaces ready for daily patient care Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Active New Jersey PTA license, or eligibility to obtain licensure CPR certification required Previous outpatient or rehabilitation experience preferred Strong communication and observation skills Ability to stay organized and provide consistent patient support 3 Weeks PTO Health Insurance Dental Vision Bring your clinical skills into a role where steady patient progress is part of the everyday work.
