Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Location: Hillsborough, NJ Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Salary: $70,000–$80,000/year DOE + Full Benefits Patient Volume: 1 patient per hour Job Summary A private outpatient physical therapy practice is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to support the delivery of individualized treatment services in a structured clinical setting. This role involves working directly with patients to carry out therapy plans established by the Physical Therapist, helping them improve mobility, reduce pain, and build strength for daily function. The position requires a strong understanding of treatment flow, accurate documentation, and consistent communication with the supervising therapist regarding patient progress and response to care. Responsibilities Carry out treatment plans under the supervision of the Physical Therapist Guide patients through therapeutic exercise programs Monitor patient performance and report changes in condition Document treatment sessions clearly and accurately Reinforce safe movement patterns and proper exercise technique Maintain a clean and organized treatment area Associate degree from an accredited PTA program Active New Jersey PTA license Prior outpatient experience preferred Strong communication and documentation skills PTO Health Insurance 401K Plan with 3% Company Match Take the next step into an outpatient role where steady hours and patient care stay at the center of the day.
