Position Summary The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is responsible for providing daily patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This role includes frequent interaction with patients and physicians, implementing treatment plans, supporting patient education, and maintaining accurate patient records. Key Responsibilities Provide physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist Assist with implementation and progression of patient treatment plans Participate in ongoing patient assessments and treatment plan reviews Educate patients on exercises, treatment plans, and home programs Maintain accurate and timely documentation to support billing and compliance, including Medicare guidelines Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, physicians, and team members Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment Support facility operations including equipment maintenance and supply inventory Participate in team meetings, training, and in-service education Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Physical Therapy Benefits Individualized mentorship and leadership development opportunities Continuing education reimbursement and MedBridge access Performance-based bonus 401(k) with company match (up to 4%) Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Relocation bonus Interested in Learning More? Requirements Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Active Alaska PTA license (or ability to obtain) Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred New graduates welcome to apply Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
