Physical Therapist Assistant Job Summary A PT-owned orthopedic outpatient office in Deerfield Beach, FL is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to help patients complete treatment programs and improve their ability to move, work, exercise, and handle daily activities. You will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and support patients through therapeutic exercises, movement training, and functional rehab. What This Role Offers This position provides a strong balance of patient care, schedule flexibility, and professional support. The clinic treats 2 patients per hour, allowing the PTA to stay focused and involved throughout treatment sessions. Responsibilities Provide PTA services according to the PT’s plan of care Assist with therapeutic exercise, mobility work, balance training, and functional activities Help patients improve movement quality and activity tolerance Monitor patient progress during treatment Communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist Reinforce patient education and home program instructions Maintain complete and accurate documentation Help keep the clinic space prepared and organized Current Florida PTA License PTA Degree required Outpatient experience preferred New graduates are welcome to apply Interest in orthopedic rehab Clear communication and teamwork skills Salary: $60,000–$70,000 per year, depending on experience Schedule: 4-day work schedule or Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Setting: Orthopedic Outpatient Office Patient Volume: 1–2 patients per hour Benefits Health Insurance Dental & Vision Insurance 401K with Company Match 3 weeks PTO Flexible schedule options PT-owned outpatient environment Step forward into a PTA role where your support helps patients make steady progress.
