Physical Therapist Assistant – Fort Lauderdale, FL Outpatient Therapy Position Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL Position: Physical Therapist Assistant Work Setting: Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapy Office Office Assignment: One office location only Pay: $30–$36 per hour Schedule: Flexible schedule available We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant in Fort Lauderdale, FL for an orthopedic outpatient physical therapy office. This position is focused on helping patients follow treatment plans that improve movement, strength, balance, flexibility, and function. The PTA will work closely with the Physical Therapist and assist patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-operative needs, pain, stiffness, weakness, and mobility challenges. This is a one-office role with flexible schedule options and full benefits. Schedule Options: 4-day workweek with 10-hour shifts Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Responsibilities: Follow treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, mobility drills, and functional activities Assist with stretching, strengthening, balance work, and gait training Monitor patient progress and report updates to the PT Help patients understand exercise instructions and safe movement habits Complete accurate treatment documentation Support efficient clinic flow and patient readiness Active Florida Physical Therapist Assistant License Associate degree from an accredited PTA program Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred Clear communication and reliable follow-through Full benefits included Health insurance Dental and vision insurance 401K plan with company match 21 days PTO Take your PTA career forward in Fort Lauderdale and help patients make steady progress in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
