Requirements About the Role As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you'll provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). You'll work with patients recovering from surgery, illness, injury, and hospitalization while helping them safely improve mobility, balance, endurance, strength, and functional independence. Responsibilities Deliver physical therapy treatments established by the supervising Physical Therapist. Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress with the Physical Therapist. Assist patients in improving mobility, balance, gait, strength, endurance, and functional independence. Accurately document treatments, patient progress, and daily billing. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide coordinated patient care. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on home exercise and maintenance programs. Participate in care planning and discharge planning as appropriate. Maintain compliance with all state licensure requirements and Concept Rehab policies. Demonstrate Concept Rehab's core values of Commitment, Respect, and Integrity. Qualifications Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of practice (or eligible for licensure). Strong communication and teamwork skills.
