EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in physical therapy practice is preferred, new grads accepted if willingness to learn.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology as it relates to rehabilitation practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation exercises, home care strategies, and injury prevention.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and discharge planning for patients.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
