Description Eagle Rock Health and Rehabilitation of Cascadia is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting. The PTA will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to assist in providing high-quality rehabilitative care to elderly residents and short-term rehab patients. Key Responsibilities: Provide physical therapy treatments to patients as outlined in the care plan developed by the Physical Therapist. Assist patients in improving mobility, relieving pain, and restoring physical function. Monitor and report patient responses to treatment and progress toward goals. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care. Educate patients and families on exercises and safety precautions to enhance recovery and prevent further injury. Requirements Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Idaho. Current CPR/BLS certification. Experience in a SNF or geriatric rehab setting preferred. Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
